I'm a manager up front and they are really pushing credit/debit cards lately because well it brings in money, any tips or tricks that you have that can help me get my team to get them? Thanks! (We've tried little games like whoever get a red card gets to pick out a movie and I just feel it's getting old)
a litte discount goes a long way in opening a new Credit/Debit card no lies, a little discount of 5, 10% will get people to sign up
My store gives away gift cards (to restaurants and Target) and Target Merchandise from the Bullseye Shop. I personally just engage people while I'm checking them out and when I get the prompt I explain it to them, rather than just reading it from the screen. Most people appreciate it and will apply. MOST. lol But I tell them that I personally have the Debit Card and how it works, and people seem to like it better than the credit cards, so that helps. But hey, a REDCard is a REDCard!
