It needs to be a 2001 or newer, "x" amount of miles, and so on, but is a great way to re-establish your credit, as long as you make your payments on time EVERY month, don't ever miss one or be late!!

They may want to run a report on you prior to looking for a car so both of you will know around how much of a price range you can look at. Even if you have 10 dealerships run your credit prior to purchasing your car, the 10 runs won't affect your credit. As long as the large number of inquiries are within the same industry (car loan, mortgage, etc) it won't have a negative impact. Although credit card inquiries are exepmt from this...large numbers of credit card inquiries within a short period will have a negative affect on your score.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution. I will hereby talk from my personal experience.
